Project Re-Roof 2026: Our Industry Giving Back

Making Buildings Safe & Dry — Together

For more than three decades, Project Re-Roof has demonstrated what can happen when the Southern California roofing industry comes together for a common purpose: giving back to the communities we serve by doing what we do best — making buildings safe and dry.

Established in 1989 with the re-roofing of a children’s home, Project Re-Roof has grown into an annual tradition for the Roofing Contractors Association of Southern California (RCASoCal).

Each year, a deserving charitable organization is selected to receive a new roof through the generosity of roofing contractors, manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and other industry professionals who donate their time, expertise, materials, and financial support.

The 2026 Project: Women & Children’s Crisis Center

This year, RCASoCal was proud to select the Women & Children’s Crisis Center in Whittier as our 2026 Project Re-Roof recipient.

The facility was in need of a new roofing system consisting of a composition shingle roof along with a small low-slope roof deck.

Through the leadership and expertise of Jordan Roof Company, along with the generous contributions of QXO Building Supply and other roofing industry professionals, the project was successfully completed in early September.

The finished roof represents much more than shingles, materials, and labor. It provides protection for an organization that serves people in our community when they need support most.

When the Roofing Industry Comes Together

Project Re-Roof is built around a simple idea: everyone has something they can contribute.

Contractors can provide labor and expertise. Manufacturers and suppliers can provide roofing materials and equipment. Industry partners can provide services or financial support.

When those individual contributions come together, our industry can make a meaningful difference for nonprofit and charitable organizations that might otherwise struggle to afford a much-needed roofing project.

It is also an opportunity to demonstrate something we have always known about the roofing industry: we take care of our communities and we take care of each other.

Help Us Find Our Next Project Re-Roof

With the 2026 project completed, we are already looking toward the future — and we need your help identifying our next deserving organization.

Do you know a nonprofit, charitable organization, community facility, shelter, youth organization, or other deserving group in Southern California that has a roof in need of replacement or significant repair?

Nominate them for Project Re-Roof.

We also welcome contributions from throughout the roofing industry. Whether you can donate materials, labor, services, equipment, or financial support, every contribution helps make the next Project Re-Roof possible.

For more than 35 years, this program has continued because roofing professionals have been willing to step forward and give back.

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, supplied materials, worked on a roof, supported a project, or nominated an organization over the years — thank you.

Your dedication to our industry and our communities is what keeps Project Re-Roof going year after year.

Together, we can keep making a difference — one roof at a time.
